Your First Visit
On your first visit with us, we will listen carefully to your dental concerns and answer all of your questions. You can expect a thorough oral examination, including only necessary x-rays, a thorough cleaning and a discussion of the most appropriate treatment to meet your oral health goals. As always, your personal health information will be kept private in accordance with HIPAA Privacy regulations.
Unless an emergency occurs, you can expect us to be on time. We appreciate your being prompt also as we have put aside this time especially for you. We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that prevent patients from keeping appointments. It happens to the best of us! In the future, if you find it impossible to keep an appointment, please call as soon as possible to reschedule. We would like a minimum of 24 hours advance notice in order to reschedule your appointment as well as accommodate another patient who may need to come in. We reserve the right to charge for late cancellations and no-shows.
We will be happy to complete and file insurance claims for you. You will need to be prepared to pay any deductibles and co-insurance/co-pays your plan has the day of your service. Please keep in mind that ultimately the responsibility for payment is yours. If you have insurance, you must bring your card or other proof of coverage to your appointment. For questions regarding your insurance plan and the plans our office accepts, please call our office at (609)275-0022. It is helpful if you familiarize yourself with your plan's terms and limits prior to your visit. Please remember though, we base your plan of treatment on your dental health needs, not your insurance coverage.
We accept most dental insurances, and participate specifically in the following:
- Aetna PPO
- BC/BS (Traditional Only, Some PPOs)
- Cigna PPO
- Delta Dental (Premier and Preferred PPO)
- Metlife PPO
- United Concordia (most plans)
- DeCare (International Brotherhood of Teamsters)
Please call our office at (609) 275-0022 if you have questions about your dental insurance
